Grocery Innovations Canada is the place for the entire grocery industry to connect and grow their business. Taking place at the Toronto Congress Centre, Tues. Oct. 25 is open to all delegates. The industry panel featuring Diane Brisebois, RCC; Ron Lemaire, CPMA; Michael Graydon, FHCP; Giancarlo Trimarchi, Vince’s Market; with Gary Sands, CFIG, will explore the implications of the Grocery Code. Next, FCC’s Chief Economist, JP Gervais, will provide a look into the future of food and where grocers can leverage opportunities. A top-to-top breakfast kicks off the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 26 with Tony Chapman’s panel featuring Christy McMullen, Summerhill Market; Erin Higdon, AGD; and Jamie Nelson, Pattison Food Group. Kantar’s Amar Singh follows with a deep dive into the disrupted new normal and macro disrupters. Dragon’s Den star, Arlene Dickinson, will then look at leadership and strategic marketing. Next up, concurrent workshops on supply chain, ethnic consumers, staffing, and benchmarking survey results. That evening, the best grocers in Canada will get be feted at the Independent Grocer of the Year Awards.
