Earlier this year Loblaw announced plans to start testing a click and collect service in Canada.
Now, months later, the company appears to be ready to trial the format. A Loblaw Great Food store in Richmond Hill, Ont. has been set up with a drive-through so customers can pick up their groceries.

Click and collect, in which shoppers order online, then pick up their purchases at a store, is already popular in Europe and is now being employed by some American grocery chains.
In Canada, Overwaitea Food Group is offering click and collect at some of its Vancouver Save-On-Foods stores.
