IDDBA 2020 cancelled

COVID-19 outbreak forces organizers to move the annual trade show and conference to June 2021

The International Dairy Deli Bakery Association has cancelled its annual conference and trade show in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

IDDBA was scheduled to take place May 31 to June 2 in Indianapolis, which the U.S. Surgeon General said was one of the emerging hotspots for COVID-19 cases.

This made it "painfully evident that continuing to plan the show puts the health and well-being of those we serve and our partners at risk," said IDDBA  president and CEO Michael J. Eardley in a note published to the non profit's website.

Registration and exhibitor fees for IDDBA 2020 will be refunded, and exhibitors will have two options:
• Full credit toward IDDBA 2021
• Full refund of fees paid to IDDBA for IDDBA 2020

IDDBA 2021 is tentatively set for June 6 to 8 in Houston.
