IGA Quebec, the exclusive retailer for Nagano pork


IGA Quebec is getting ready for barbecue season with superior quality Nagano pork, a product of Yamachiche, Que., located an hour from Montreal.

Nagano pork, known for its marbling that makes it exceptionally tender and flavourful is aged for 10 days, and until now has only been available in restaurants and hotels.

Sobeys Quebec has an exclusive partnership with pork producer and processor Aliment Lucyporc.

The pork was developed when the 1988 Winter Olympics took place in Nagano, Japan.
