Italian Centre Shop is opening a second location in Calgary.

The Alberta grocer recently announced plans for a 22,000 square-foot store at the Northland Village Mall, which is currently being redeveloped into an open air shopping centre.

Slated to open in 2026, Italian Centre Shop said on Instagram that the location will feature a deli, tavola calda (cafeteria), artisan bakery and café.

The grocer currently has five locations: three in Edmonton (Little Italy, West End and Southside), one in Calgary (Willow Park) and one in Sherwood Park, a hamlet near Edmonton (Emerald Hills).
