KaleMart24 plans new locations in Ontario, eyes Calgary
Think Retail, a bespoke brokerage firm based in Montreal, announced that convenience store brand KaleMart24 is adding seven news stores to its roster, with two to open in Ontario.
Started in Montreal in 2024 by Oussama (Sam) Saoudi, KaleMart 24 offers customers a range of fresh, organic products to young, urban professionals in a 24/7 convenience store with self-checkout, mobile payments, and a loyalty program option. The first KaleMart24 opened is in Berri-UQAM Metro and KaleMart24 has grown to eight locations around Montreal.
Think Retail will now be working with KaleMart24 to further expand its retail footprint, with plans in the works, according to Think Retail to add some 20 locations over the next 12 months across Quebec and expanding into Ontario. The first step in this ambitious expansion will be five stores in Quebec and two in Ontario.
KaleMart24 said its also considering Calgary as its next market.
The Quebec and Ontario locations will be:
- Station Mont-Royal: 470 Avenue du Mont-Royal E, Montreal (opening in July)
- Gatineau: 306 Bd Saint-Joseph, Gatineau, Que. (opening in July)
- Byward Market: 47 William St., Ottawa (opening in July)
- Peel Street: 2025 Rue Peel, Montreal (opening in August)
- Place Bell: 755 Boul. le Corbusier Laval, Que. (opening in September)
- Kitchener: 66 Weber St E, Kitchener, Ont. (opening in September)
- Griffintown: 110 Rue Peel suite 100, Montreal (opening in September)
Kalemart24 said it is seeking sites that range from 500 to 1500 sq. ft. across Quebec and Ontario.
