Kruger launches the Big Assist to help Canadian hockey families

11/13/2020

Every Assist Counts

Canada wouldn’t be Canada without hockey. And hockey wouldn’t be hockey without the assist.

But not all assists happen on the ice.

This year has been a tough one financially for many families especially when it comes to keeping their kids enrolled in minor hockey. This is why Kruger Products has launched the Big Assist program. Working with minor hockey associations across the country, Kruger will be donating over $100,000 to families in need to help offset hockey registration fees.

Fifteen associations will be chosen to each receive $10,000 to assist local families, based on nominations made at bigassist.ca. The good news is that anyone can nominate a hockey association by submitting a story or video that is based on the judging criteria.

Details can be found at BigAssist.ca

Visit the website to learn more, to nominate a local hockey association yourself, or even to share the program on your social media channels.

Getting the word out is an easy way you can make a Big Assist, too. Because when it comes to helping families in need, EVERY ASSIST COUNTS™.
