Loblaw challenged over right to use everydayliving name
Loblaw launched its everydayliving general merchandising label in the spring but it’s now the owner of the website everydayliving.com is saying the retailer is violating her trademark rights.
The website’s owner, Sandra Freer, challenged Loblaw’s right to use the name based on the fact that it already owns the registered trademark on the Web and in print.
Facebook has pulled Loblaw’s everydayliving items from its site following Freer’s complaints, according to an article published in the Globe and Mail.
