Loblaw exec joins Ahold USA

Andrew Iacobucci is heading to the U.S. to join Ahold as executive vice-president of merchandising.

Iacobucci will lead a merchandising team for Ahold USA's four supermarket divisions, Stop & Shop New England, Stop & Shop New York Metro, Giant Landover and Giant Carlisle.

Prior to joining Ahold, Iacobucci spent 10 years at Loblaw, working in its grocery discount division, drugstore business unit, central store operations team, supercenter team and corporate development function.

Most recently, he was president of Loblaw’s discount division.

“We are delighted that Andrew is joining our team, and he brings outstanding merchandising experience to help us on our journey from good to great,” said James McCann, COO of Ahold, in a release.
