Loblaw's CFO named to 100 Most Powerful Women list
Sarah Davis, chief financial officer at Loblaw Cos. Ltd. has been named to the 2011 Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100 list.
Sarah Davis has held her current position since 2010, having started at Loblaw Co. in 2007 as the senior vice-president of financial operations, according to a Financial Post story.
Davis has more has two decades of financial management experience with senior financial positions at Bell Canada and Rogers Communications.
She has been integral part in Loblaw implementing the SAP Finance software system and converting the company’s public reporting to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
She is also chair of the Women@Loblaw network, a career development and networking program for the company’s female leaders and is an executive sponsor in the President’s Choice Children’s Charity's colleague campaign, golf tournament and Bowlerama events.
