Loblaws to open redesigned store in Ontario
Loblaws will re-open its renovated store in Etobicoke, Ont.’s Humbertown shopping centre on April 24.
The 34,000 square-foot grocery store features a new layout, updated signage and refreshed sections.
Shoppers will find more grab-and-go options, a deli featuring more than 300 varieties of cheese from around the world and an expanded bakery, as well as an enhanced selection of international foods. Loblaws Humbertown will also feature a greater selection of organic, gluten-free and plant-based products.
Ryan Nelson will serve as store manager. Nelson started his career as a Zehrs Operations Manager before working his way up to store manager.
“We are so excited to reopen this highly anticipated Loblaws, designed with our customers in mind,” says new Store Manager Ryan Nelson. “Thank you to the community for their patience and support while we completed the redesign to bring more assortment and value to the store. Many returning colleagues and I are excited to welcome the community back to the store.”
To generate buzz for the opening, Humbertown is running a localized media strategy through radio broadcast, social media and geo-targeted out-of-home placements in high-traffic areas surrounding the store.
Loblaws Humbertown—located at 270 The Kingsway—is donating $5,174 to Daily Bread Food Bank to mark the opening.
