Longo's Kitchener will be located at 1950 Fischer-Hallman Road.
Ontario grocer Longo’s is set to open its 40th store next week.
On Nov. 21, the Empire-owned chain will hold the grand opening of its long-awaited Kitchener location, located at 1950 Fischer-Hallman Road.
In an interview with Canadian Grocer earlier this year, Longo’s president Deb Craven said of the Kitchener location: “It’s a new community for us that we’re really excited to be joining. It’s a community that maybe hasn’t been as aware of the Longo’s name, so we’re really excited to be moving into that geography.”
According to the grocer’s website, the store will feature alcohol (beer, wine and ready-to-drink) as well as other food and drink options including a hot bar, salad bar, Bento Suhi Bar, rotisserie and stone oven pizza. Services include bakery, floral, deli, meat, catering and seafood.
It also features an in-store Starbucks, The Loft Cooking School and EV charging stations.
