Longo’s president Deb Craven to keynote Star Women in Grocery Awards event
Canadian Grocer is honoured to welcome Deb Craven, president of Longo’s, as the keynote speaker for the 2026 Star Women in Grocery Awards event.
Craven, a 2021 Star Women in Grocery winner, will take the stage at the annual awards ceremony on Sept. 24 at The International Centre in Toronto.
As president of Longo’s, part of Empire Company Ltd., Craven leads strategic growth and expansion, drawing on a distinguished executive career at brands like Nike, Purolator and Canadian Tire.
Craven joined Longo’s in 2019 as chief financial officer. She was later promoted to chief operating officer before taking on her current position in 2023. Craven is the first woman to be named president of the grocery banner.
A champion of both business excellence and community impact, Craven has served on the boards of organizations including The Learning Partnership, Sagesse in Calgary, Kids Help Phone and The Grocery Foundation.
