A funny in-store stunt in Mexico goes viral

It won't necessarily achieve Harlem Shake fame, but the grocery industry has its own new viral hit.

The clip has hit a nerve with--and the funny bone of--the Internet universe, amassing more than two million views on YouTube since being posted last week.

An article on reports "there are dozens of Spanish-language videos of dancing cows invading Mexican grocery stores" posted online. It seems Alpura has been doing similar in-store stunts for years.

At a time when differentiation amongst manufacturers is increasingly important, a dancing bovine could definitely help Alpura stand out. We here at Canadian Grocer think the dancing videos are, umm, "udderly" hilarious.
