Michelle Scott, formerly vice-president, events and Grand Prix at the now dissolved Canadian Council of Grocery Distributors (CCGD), has been named executive director at the Grocery Foundation.
“I am delighted she has taken on this new challenge and look forward to helping her transition into her new role,” said Bob Millar of the Grocery Foundation in a memo.

Scott said: "I'm very excited to be a part of the Grocery Foundation. I'm confident that my experiences in my previous role as CCGD vice-president, events and Grand Prix, will assist me in my new endeavour. I look forward to continuing to work with grocery retailers and suppliers, many of whom I have collaborated with from my 11 years at CCGD."
