Mike Walton promoted within Rogers Sugar subsidiaries
Rogers Sugar has appointed Mike Walton to the position of chief operating officer of Lantic and president of The Maple Treat Corporation, a new position within the Vancouver-based holding company.
Walton, who most recently served as Lantic's vice-president, sales and marketing, will report to Lantic president and CEO John Holliday. In his new role, Walton will "address important strategic decisions," according to a press release announcing his promotion.
"Mike’s experience at Lantic makes him the perfect fit for this important and strategic role for the future of our business," said Holliday. "Mike’s excellent leadership skills will certainly be instrumental in helping the highly skilled Maple and Sugar teams in our journey of becoming the leading North American Natural Sweetener Supplier."
Rogers Sugar also announced Manon Lacroix is leaving her post as vice-president, finance, CFO and secretary later this summer. She was with the company for 12 years.
