A new No Frills has opened in northern Ontario.

Pam & Steve's No Frills welcomed shoppers Thursday (April 30) in Sudbury's south end neighbourhood.

The store, located at 1933 Regent Street in the Southridge mall, is led by franchisees Pam and Steve Key, who recently recently returned to the community after 27 years.

“This opportunity carries tremendous significance for us, both personally and professionally, and we are incredibly grateful for the chance to continue serving communities through the brand we believe in," Pam and Steve shared in a Facebook post.

The opening celebrations include a donation to the Sudbury Food Bank. The first 100 shoppers were surprised with goodie bags.

Pam & Steve's No Frills offers PC Express delivery and pick-up.
