Non-GMO, free-from food prevalent at CHFA West
A look at the top trends from the CHFA West show in Vancouver
The Canadian Health Food Association kicked off its 50th conference and trade show April 10 with exhibitors showcasing everything from the latest in anti-aging products to sleep aids, protein powders, cold remedies and ethnic foods.
A walk around the trade floor quickly showed that the popularity of gluten-free products continues, anything coconut is huge, non-soy alternatives to dairy were prominent, and consumers continue to demand non-GMO, plant-based foods without preservatives or anything artificial.
