North West Company celebrates 25 years

Some 200 store managers have gathered in Winnipeg for a five-day conference and celebration to mark its 25th anniversary.

Store managers from areas such as the Caribbean, South Pacific, Alaska and northern Canada are attending its 13th annual Wintering Partners Conference and Trade Show, according to an article.

It is the first time the company has brought all of its store managers for the conference.

North West's Canadian operations include Northern Stores, NorthMart and Giant Tiger.

Some 20 North West Company executives and about 100 representatives from the Canadian and U.S. vendors will be showcasing their wares at Friday's trade show.
