Oakville, Ont. is getting its second Farm Boy store later this month. The 29,908-sq.-ft. space--a former Sobeys location--opens June 24 in the city's Bronte community.
This will be Farm Boy's 40th location in Ontario and the Empire-owned banner has plans to open three additional stores by the end of year.
The Bronte location will employ 135 staff members and will offer a wide variety of farm fresh produce, butcher-quality meats, artisan cheese and fresh dairy.
“We are so pleased to be opening our second location in Oakville,” said Jean-Louis Bellemare, president and general manager, Farm Boy, in a press release. “Customers visiting the new Bronte store can expect a true fresh market shopping experience along with exceptional customer service.”
