Pepsi tries its hand at time travel

Uses 3D technology to make "time portals" appear in front of unsuspecting passer-bys

Pepsi spooked a few Londoners this week with part of its new Pepsi Max campaign. Using 3D technology, a tech team set up shop in a London tunnel where through augmented reality and stereo projection, images of a "time portal" would appear in front of pedestrians, seemingly out of nowhere. Images that appeared to the unsuspecting passer-bys included cyborgs and dinosaurs. The stunt is part of Pepsi Max's "Unbelievable" campaign.
