PepsiCo Canada CEO Cara Keating to keynote Star Women in Grocery event
Canadian Grocer is pleased to announce PepsiCo Canada CEO Cara Keating as the keynote speaker for the 2025 Star Women in Grocery Awards event.
Keating, a 2017 Star Women in Grocery Award winner, will take the stage at the annual awards ceremony in celebration of the industry’s most outstanding women.
A seasoned PepsiCo leader with 20 years of experience, Keating has progressively held senior positions across general management, customer development and field leadership, earning a reputation for delivering results and fostering collaboration.
As chief executive, she oversees both the Foods and Beverages divisions for the largest consumer packaged goods company in the country—home to iconic food and beverage brands including Lay’s, Doritos, Quaker, Pepsi, bubly, and Gatorade.
Keating leads a team of more than 12,000 associates across the company’s 13 Canadian manufacturing facilities and 280 distribution locations.
Prior to her current role, Keating served as chief customer officer for PepsiCo Foods North America, where she led customer strategy for the nearly $26 billion snack and convenience foods business.
Previously, she was president of PepsiCo Foods Canada, driving innovation and sustainability efforts while overseeing the Frito Lay Canada and Quaker Canada businesses.
In 2021, Keating played a key role in the opening of PepsiCo Canada’s state-of-the-art Mississauga headquarters, uniting the Foods and Beverages teams under one roof.
A passionate advocate for inclusion, Keating was a former lead and executive sponsor of PepsiCo Canada’s Women’s Inclusion Network, earning the PepsiCo Global Harvey C. Russell Award for her contributions in advancing women’s development and inclusion.
Outside of PepsiCo, she serves on the board of directors for the Food, Health & Consumer Products of Canada (FHCP) and contributes to key industry committees shaping the sector’s future.
