Canadian Grocer recently handed out hardware to the 2025 Star Women winners
The Star Women in Grocery Awards breakfast in Toronto on Sept. 25 once again highlighted the remarkable women shaping the future of Canada’s grocery industry.
This year’s event recognized outstanding senior-level stars, with winners taking the stage to receive their trophies in recognition of their expertise, innovation and commitment to the industry. (We will feature winners in the rising stars and store-level stars categories in the coming days.)
A standout moment came as Empire chief executive officer Michael Medline presented the inaugural Icon Award to Retail Council of Canada's retiring president and CEO Diane J. Brisebois, acknowledging her extraordinary impact and lasting contributions to the industry.
