Led by store owner Berkan Yagliyurt, the 60,000-sq.-ft. store in Bolton, Ont. will offer traditional grocery, international foods, full-service floral, a health food department staffed with certified holistic nutritionists and a full-service pharmacy.
Shoppers can also enjoy fresh food with Fortinos new Pane Fresco concept, which features a retro-style seating area for 100.
Meaning “fresh bread” in Italian, Pane Fresco offers a selection of foods created by Fortinos team of chefs, including: a prime rib sandwich; soups and sandwiches; artisan breads (40 varieties of fresh baked breads and buns); 21 varieties of signature pizzas; and sushi.
Additionally, a cafe will serve coffee from beans roasted in-store.
Formerly a Zehrs, construction began to transform the site into a Fortinos in October.
