PHOTOS: Adonis transforms Montreal store

Adonis Mediterranean Market (Marché Adonis) in Montreal is marking the completion of a more than $2.6 million renovation project. 

The Metro Inc. grocer’s modernized Sauvé Street location features a wider selection of products and a simplified shopping experience.

Upgrades include new decor and lighting; expanded coffee, spice and bakery sections; and an increased selection of pre-packaged foods—by more than 50% in fresh and up to 70% in frozen.

The store now also features a new pizza counter.

“This project was more than just a renovation. It was an opportunity for us to transform the store in a way that provides customers with a more enjoyable, seamless experience that better reflects their shopping habits, while preserving what makes Adonis strong—namely, the diversity and quality of our food selection,” said Dave Parent, regional director for Adonis Quebec, in a press release. “This investment also demonstrates our commitment to continuously improving our stores while remaining deeply rooted in the communities we serve.”
