Priya Industrie to open $19 million plant in Quebec

Priya Industrie Inc. is set to commence operations at its new $19 million food processing, product, co-packing, packaging and partnership plant in Longueuil, Que. this April.

The 55,000 square foot facility comprises 42,000 square feet of production space and 13,000 square feet of storage space and administrative office use area. 

The production rooms are temperature optimized at four degrees celsius  and refrigerated with CO2. The freezer storage can accommodate 536 pallets at -18 degrees celsius. All voltage types are available. In addition, four receiving/shipping docks are included to efficiently meet logistics needs.

It is GFSI accredited and meets SQF Level 9 standards.

"With this new production capacity, we now have the necessary tools to deploy our strategic growth plan for several years to come," Bill Angelopoulos, vice president of Priya Industrie, said in a statement.
