Pusateri's Fine Foods has announced its Avenue store will re-open its doors to the public later this summer.

After a devastating fire in August 2015, the gourmet grocer's flagship store—which stood on Avenue Road for almost 30 years— closed to assess damage and work towards rebuilding.

The refurbished store will sport 15,000-square-feet of redesigned retail and food service space.

In addition to best-selling products, Pusateri’s will add over 100 new  brands to its assortment.

The full-service fresh departments will be upgraded including an increased local and international cheese selection, bolstered deli meat offering, expanded bread boutique, amplified assortment of prepared food and elevated array of hand-rolled sushi.

Pusateri's opened the first Saks Food Hall by Pusateri's at Sherway Gardens Mall earlier this Fall. The second Food Hall in Toronto's Eaton Centre is expected to open later this summer.

A sixth location, and the first Pusateri's in the Greater Toronto Area, will open in Oakville this summer.
