Red Sun Farms expands Calgary distribution centre

Vertical farming company Red Sun Farms is expanding its distribution centre in Calgary.

The new facility features 40,000 square feet of multi-temp rooms, storage and packaging capabilities. 

“This expansion is an exciting step forward for Red Sun Farms and our customers,” said Carlos Visconti, CEO, in a release. “The additional capacity and advanced equipment allow us to enhance service efficiency to the  west and ensure that our produce continues to meet the highest standards in quality and freshness.” 

Red Sun Farms owns greenhouses in Canada, Mexico and the United States.
