The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning the public not to consume several salad products from Bonduelle due to potential E. coli contamination.

The Bonduelle products in question are: Caesar Salad with Chicken and Bacon (174 g, use by Oct, 29, 2019); Chef Inspired Salad with Turkey & Ham (220 g, use by Oct. 31, 2019); Cobb Salad with Turkey & Bacon (206 g, use by Oct. 31, 2019); and Santa Fe Style Salad with Chicken (177 g, use by Oct. 31, 2019). They have been sold in OntarioQuebec and New Brunswick, and may have been distributed in other provinces or territories.

According to the CFIA, there have been no reported illnesses in Canada related to these products. The food safety warning was triggered by a recall in another country.

The CFIA is currently conducting a food safety investigation of these products, which may subsequently lead to an official recall in Canada.
