Shaun McKenna named executive director at The Grocery Foundation

Shaun McKenna has been named executive director at The Grocery Foundation, replacing Michelle Scott who is retiring this fall.

McKenna is currently serving as Acosta's executive vice-president strategic channels, North America. He has also held senior level positions with Mosaic Sales Solution and CIM. He starts his new position Sept. 5.

“I see this role as an amazing challenge – different from my career to date but also with surprisingly many synergies. I am committed and looking forward to building the Foundation because it truly does make a difference in the lives of our greatest resource – our children,” said McKenna in a press release announcing his appointment.

Since 1979, The Grocery Foundation has raised more than $85 million to help organizations meeting the health and wellness needs of children. It's behind such fundraising events as Toonies For Tummies and the Night to Nurture Gala.
