Shoppers Foundation for Women’s Health opens applications for grants program

What: The charity is now accepting applications for its 2025 Community Grants program, with a plan to give away $1.5 million.

Funding will support charitable organizations working to make care more equitable and accessible for all women in Canada.

Local initiatives designed to help improve the state of women's healthcare and health outcomes may be eligible to receive grants valued up to a maximum of $100,000.

"Shoppers Foundation for Women's Health believes that every woman in Canada deserves access to quality healthcare," said Paulette Minard, director of community investment and Shoppers Foundation for Women's Health, in a press release. "That's why we're proud to announce the launch of our 2025 Community Grants program—a $1.5 million annual fund designed to empower front-line organizations responding to the urgent healthcare needs of women in their communities. We believe that by working together we can break down barriers so that every woman in Canada has the opportunity to live a healthy and fulfilling life."

Applications can be submitted directly through the Shoppers Foundation for Women's Health website until April 16, 2025.

Since 2022, the Foundation has supported more than 90 initiatives in communities across the country.
