Sobeys launches fundraising campaign to support Special Olympics Canada
Some of the company's grocery banners will be accepting $2 donations at cash
Who: Sobeys Inc.
What: Until June 16, Sobeys, Safeway, IGA, Thrifty Foods, Foodland, Lawtons, Needs, and Safeway Gas Bar stores across Canada are running an in-store fundraising campaign in support of Special Olympics Canada.
Customers will be asked to make a $2 donation at cash, which covers one day of participation in Special Olympics activities for an athlete in Canada.
To help support the campaign, Special Olympics Canada athlete ambassadors will be featured in local grocery stores and advertising efforts.
