Steam Whistle Brewing has added a new beer to its lineup.
After 19 years of brewing just one style of beer, its pilsner, the Toronto-based independent beer company has launched Steam Whistle Pale Ale. Like its pilsner, the new premium-positioned brew is made to the same strict standards of the Bavarian Purity Act of 1516—which dictates that only water, barley, hops and yeast may be used in the beer-making process. No corn syrup, foam enhancers or artificial preservatives are used in either of Steam Whistle’s beers. Its makers describe the new pale ale as easy to drink, crisp and “hop forward.”
