When we asked Chris James, FCL’s sustainability manager, what he thought would be the next big sustainability issue in the next five years, he said he believes it will be about reducing waste—throughout the entire supply chain. What will this take? James says it will require working closely with suppliers to identify waste in processes. It will also mean ensuring materials are transported efficiently and that products get to customers quickly.
