Tesco explores 3D printing

The UK grocer is investigating how 3D printing technology could be used in its stores in the future

Tesco's research team is on a fact finding mission to Silicon Valley to explore 3D printing technology for use in its stores.

The technologies could be used in the future to create food, as well as toys, clothing and furniture.

Paul Wilkinson, Tesco's lead research specialist in the IT research & development team blogged  there's a "potential for 3D technology to revolutionise the way we view stores and what we can get from them is vast."
