8/6/2013

A Tesco in Bedford became the first in England with a dentist within its store.

Hours will be extended to fit in with the 24 hour store, providing evening and weekend appointments. According to a report, the practice gets 5 to 10 new patients a day.

Located next to the pharmacy, the dental office is managed by Integrated Dental Holdings.

A spokeswoman for Tesco said in a report that the dental office will offer patients greater flexibility, especially as the practice will be open during the weekends and evenings.

Fillings and crowns, emergency dentistry, routine check-ups, dentures and private treatments are among the services available at the Tesco dental office.
