Downtown Toronto is getting its third Farm Boy store.

Set to open at the corner of Front and Bathurst on Jan. 28, the 33, 478-sq.-ft. store will include many of the hallmarks associated with Farm Boy, including local farm fresh produce, pizza grill and sushi stations, hundreds of private-label products and more than 19 varieties of fresh, homemade soup.

“Torontonians are telling us that they are really enjoying our Farm Boy stores in Toronto and based on customer requests, we are excited to continue expanding our footprint and presence in the downtown core,” said Jean-Louis Bellemare, president and general manager, Farm Boy, in a press release.

“We have adapted to a full-service hot bar and salad bar while also including other popular eat on-the-go options so that customers can easily enjoy some of our favourite chef-inspired meals from home,” he added.

Farm Boy opened two downtown Toronto stores last fall. One is a 17,000-sq.-ft. store at College and Bay, while the other is a 27,000-sq.-ft. location near Yonge and Eglinton.

The Front and Bathurst location brings Farm Boy's store count to 36. The Ontario-based grocer plans to open an additional seven locations by the end of the year.
