Korean supermarket Galleria has set its sights on busy commuters and students in Toronto with the launch of its mobile shops at TTC bus transit shelters.
The two TTC shelters are located at the Yonge/Finch intersection and at the University of Toronto's Robarts library.
The shelters feature shopping ads with QR codes for popular products such as instant noodles, Korean snacks, kimchi and store made food items.
Smart phone users only need to scan the QR code and items will be delivered to their home in two days.
There is also the option of picking items up from one of the Galleria outlets without a delivery fee, but marketing manager Shawn Kim said that most customers would choose the home delivery option.
The featured items on ads are scheduled to change every 4 or 8 weeks.
