The stars are out at certain Loblaw banners in Quebec, as the banner rolls out the Guiding Stars nutrition rating program in 107 stores.
The program, which scores food based on a scientific algorithm and then uses stars (three stars is the highest rating) to highlight nutritious food offers, will be available in Loblaws, Provigo Le Marché and Provigo banner stores.

Plans to introduce the program to Loblaw's Maxi banners have been pushed back, according to reports.

Certain foods, such as tea, coffee, alcohol, HMR offers are excluded.
Guiding Stars has already been in Ontario Loblaw stores for one year.
