T&T Supermarket is opening in this Toronto mall next year …

T&T Supermarket is expanding its footprint in Toronto this winter with the opening of a 36,000-sq.-ft.- store in CF Fairview Mall.

Located at Sheppard Avenue East and Don Mills Road, the new store will occupy the former Sears space on the ground level and features direct access from Don Mills subway station.

The store will offer a wide variety of Asian specialty products including fresh produce, meat, seafood, grocery items, and its own signature kitchen and bakery items. Customers will have the option to order their groceries online for delivery or click and collect.  

"T&T Supermarkets is at the forefront of Asian food innovation – always sourcing new and trendy items, as well as ensuring we stock the traditional favorites that are important to the communities we serve," said T&T Supermarket CEO Tina Lee in a press release.

"We're excited to become a part of the local community and look forward to bringing new business to the area – our stores are destinations, attracting customers from all over the region," added Lee.

The addition of T&T Supermarket is part of the shopping centre’s redevelopment strategy that involved repurposing approximately 200,000 sq. ft. of space. CF Fairview has introduced retail, food and dining experiences to the renovated area since its reopening in the fall of 2020.

T&T currently operates 29 stores across British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. The chain was bought by Loblaw in 2009.
