T&T Supermarkets continues to expand its Western Canada footprint with the opening of a store in Langley, B.C.-- the Asian grocery chain's first location in that market.

The 40,000-sq.-ft. space, located within the Willowbrook Shopping Centre, opens this Friday and will feature a wide variety of fresh produce, meat, seafood, grocery items and ready to eat Asian meals.

"Langley is a lovely fast-growing community and we have been looking to open a location there for quite a long time... We look forward to bringing a new cultural destination and memorable shopping experience to the Langley community with the opening of our new T&T Supermarket,"  said Tina Lee, CEO of T&T Supermarkets, in a press release.

The store opening continues an expansion strategy for the Loblaw-owned chain that saw it open four stores in the 12 months prior to COVID. And, just this past summer, T&T marked its return to downtown Toronto with a new store at College and Spadina. Its former Cherry St. location, which stood for nearly 13 years, was torn down to make way for redevelopment.

T&T currently operates 28 stores across B.C., Alberta and Ontario.
