Two stores, one day: Red Apple to unveil a renovation and a rebrand

Red Apple is doubling down on change—unveiling a store renovation and a rebrand all in one day (Sept. 25).

Red Apple’s 8,100-sq.-ft. store in Provost, Alta. is getting a refresh that includes an improved merchandise flow, a dedicated promotional aisle and more.

Meanwhile, a former The Bargain! Shop in Maple Creek, Sask. is rebranding under the Red Apple banner and getting a makeover in the process. The 6,500-sq.-ft. space will convert from a “multi-directional layout to long, straight runs to improve merchandise flow,” according to a press release announcing the changes. A new candy shop is also in the works.

"Provost and Maple Creek show two different sides of how we grow," said Red Apple Stores president Jim Hreljac, in the release. "Provost shoppers already know us: they're walking into a store reimagined from top to bottom. Maple Creek is different: same building, same team, but a new name on the door and a new experience inside."

Red Apple Stores is in growth mode. In July alone, the chain reopened four renovated stores across Saskatchewan, Ontario and B.C. Red Apple operates more than 140 stores in small town communities across the country.
