Undeclared wheat sparks recall of Sensations brand cheesecake
Sobeys issues a national recall on one of its private-label desserts
Sobeys is recalling its Sensations brand Pecan-Crusted Cheesecake Collection because it contains wheat not declared on the label.
The product has been sold in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Nunavut, Ontario, and Saskatchewan with UPC 6 23682 11931 2.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.
There has been one reported reaction associated with the consumption of this product.
