UNFI Canada taps new director, business development

UNFI Canada has appointed Liliana Marando as director, business development, effective immediately.

Marando joins UNFI with more than 20 years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry. She previously worked at The Campbell’s Company, where she held roles across sales and marketing.

In her new role, Marando will oversee the development of new business and strategic growth opportunities across UNFI Canada’s supplier network. She will report directly to Lisa Gilbert, senior director, business strategy.

“Liliana’s strategic mindset, collaborative approach and passion for building strong commercial pipelines make her an exceptional addition to our leadership team,” said Gilbert in a press release. “Her experience and energy will play a key role in strengthening UNFI Canada’s supplier ecosystem and driving sustainable, scalable growth.”
