Voilà launches curbside pickup in Alberta

Voilà's curbside pickup service is now available at select Safeway stores in Alberta.

Launched at four locations in the province, Voilà by Safeway Curbside Pickup allows customers to place orders online or through the Voilà app, and choose a one-hour window for pickup.

Voilà teammates pick and pack each order and load them into the customer's car, providing a contactless experience. The service also offers a "freshness guarantee, products at affordable prices and no hidden fees."

Curbside pickup is available at three Safeway stores in Calgary and one location in Edmonton, with plans to expand the service in the coming months.

Empire is introducing Albertans to its Voilà e-commerce brand through this new curbside pickup service before starting home delivery in 2023 from a customer fulfillment centre to be built in Calgary.
