Walmart turns tech products into gift cards
Consumers can get a gift card from Walmart by exchanging their old tech devices
Walmart is looking to get consumers to exchange their old smartphones and other devices for gift cards that can be used instantly at Walmart stores and website. Consumers go onto the retailer's "Gadgets to Gift Cards" program site to get a quote for their device and condition, and then get an e-gift card a few minutes later. Devices that can be exchanged in the program include MP3 players, video games, cameras, computers, and other select electronics. To read more, go here.
