Activia is set to host a free in-person event on the topic of gut health this September.

The Danone-owned yogurt brand’s first-ever We’ve Got Guts Forum will take place in Toronto on Sept. 22 at the Artscape Wychwood Barns.

It will feature discussions and hands-on workshops. Speakers include: Olympian Penny Oleksiak; Andrea Hardy, registered dietitian and gut health specialist; Amber Cohen, registered clinical psychologist; Chloe Wilde, entertainment reporter and wellness-focused entrepreneur; singer, songwriter and actress Jully Black; and Raia Carey, life coach and speaker.

"Through our upcoming We've Got Guts Forum, Activia wants to help Canadians uncover the information and tools they need to live life as their authentic selves," said Janick Couture-Houle, senior brand manager for Activia at Danone Canada, in a statement. "We've brought together Canada's gutsiest experts to educate attendees while igniting fun and insightful conversations. Through moving masterclasses, practical workshops, and lively networking opportunities, our aim is to spread awareness about the power of both nourishing and trusting your gut."

The We've Got Guts Forum will also feature a social call to action component on behalf of two local organizations: the Canadian Digestive Health Foundation and Dress for Success Toronto.

In support of Dress for Success Toronto, Activia invites attendees to donate clothing on-site to support women and non-binary individuals succeed in the professional world.
