The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is updating its national flour recall over E. coli contamination concerns to include additional product information.

The latest recall includes durum atta flour blend, atta wheat flour and whole wheat flour produced by Ardent Mills of Brampton, Ont. The CFIA says all recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store.

The flour recall has been ongoing since April. It first affected Robin Hood flour sold in four provinces in Western Canada and was later expanded across the country. It was updated again a month later to cover products produced by Ardent Mills of Brampton, Ont.

There have been reported illnesses associated with flour from previous recalls. No illnesses associated with the products identified on the most recent recall list have been reported.

Full details about the recall are available at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency website.
