WHO: Adonis

WHAT: The Metro-owned Mediterranean and Middle Eastern supermarket chain joins The Grocery Foundation’s Make Happy Tummies 2026 campaign.

The national initiative supports programs to provide children and youth with nutritious breakfasts.

As a campaign partner, Adonis will support in-store, flyer, and digital activation, as well as customer fundraising in Ontario during its two-week campaign from Jan. 29 to Feb. 12, 2026 across five Ontario stores and 11 stores in Quebec. One-hundred percent of shoppers’ donations go directly to breakfast programs.

“Having the support of Adonis in the Make Happy Tummies 2026 campaign enhances our ability to provide nutritious breakfasts to more children in Ontario and Quebec through their school nutrition program," says Simon Small, executive director of The Grocery Foundation.

The partnership will also promote awareness initiatives and community-based nutrition programs.

“Adonis was built on a deep respect for the diverse communities we serve," says Eric Provost, vice-president and general manager of Adonis. "Joining the Make Happy Tummies campaign extends that spirit—giving back to the communities and shoppers who have supported us while helping children in our local communities access the nourishment they need to thrive."

Make Happy Tummies inaugural national campaign in 2025 raised over $4.4 million.
