Agropur cheese brand recalled over Listeria concerns
Firm ripened comté cheese produced in France may contain listeria
Agropur Cooperative is recalling Agropur Import Collection brand firm ripened comté cheese due to possible Listeria contamination.
The impacted product was made and manufactured in France and sold across Canada. It . has a best before date of Feb. 9, 2018 and UPC code 0 67400 00397 0.
This recall was triggered by Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) test results. The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
